Maureen was born in Manila, Philippines on July 22, 1975. She moved to the United States when she was 8 years old. Maureen began singing at the age of 12 in several Filipino restaurants. In 1992 she released two freestyle singles "Don't tell me: and "on and on" with her group called Allure, produced by Tony Garcia of Big Bang Records. Her group Allure performed in several clubs in the Tri State Area. During her singing career, she had multiple opportunities to open up for many Filipino recording artist. She also worked for many wedding bands throughout the Tri State area. Maureen is now one of the latest Opera 3000 additions.
