Drummer

Domenic E. Monaco was born on June 14, 1979 in Hackensack, New Jersey. At the age of 12, he began playing drums and was passionate about fusion jazz. When he turned 15, he and his family moved to Italy, hometown of his parents and immediate family. There, for 5 years, Domenic studies at the Corrado Marciano Drumming School in which he was influenced with fusion jazz orientated music. In Salerno, Italy, 17 years of age, he played with one of the biggest fusion jazz bands in Northern and Southern Italy. Three years later he moved back to the United States finding luck fast. He joined a local band in his area and soon after Mr. Mimmo Scarpulla found interest in the young drummer and asked Domenic to join his new band Opera 3000. Thrilled about the offer, he left the band that he was in and is now playing for the hottest new Tri- State area band, Opera 3000.
